Eurasian Bank presented AI innovations and the Eurasian Drive product to the head of state

Today in Astana, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited an exhibition of digital developments presented as part of a meeting of the Council for the Development of Artificial Intelligence.

 

In addition to the Eurasian Bank, the exhibition also featured digital developments from the country’s leading companies and institutions: Ustem Foundation, Freedom Bank, Yandex Qazaqstan, Kaspi, Kazakhtelecom, Baiterek National Holding, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, and a number of other organizations.

 

At the Eurasian Bank stand, Chairwoman of the Board Lyazzat Satieva said that for more than two years, the bank has been actively developing artificial intelligence, introducing technologies to protect customers, personalize services, and simplify processes. In collaboration with the National Bank, anti-fraud systems have been implemented to track suspicious transactions and block them in real time. This has prevented nearly 2,500 fraudulent transactions worth 307 million tenge.

 

AI also helps bank customers receive personalized offers by analyzing each person’s current needs in real time. Since the beginning of the year, the mobile app user satisfaction index (NPS) has grown from 42% to 52%. In addition, the technology allows for remote appraisal of collateral with 94% accuracy and, in the future, processing of all customer documents with an expected accuracy of 95%.

 

The chair of the board also spoke about the bank’s unique project, implemented jointly with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development and the Ministry of Internal Affairs — Eurasian Drive. The service allows users to apply for a loan and register a new car via a mobile app directly at the car dealership. Previously, the application and registration process took three days, but today the entire process takes only 2-3 hours, and car registration takes 30 minutes. Since the project was launched in September, more than 60 car dealerships across the country have connected to the service, and more than 100 customers have already taken advantage of this new opportunity.

“It is services like these that show real care for people — when technology actually saves Kazakhstani citizens time. The state’s policy of digitalization and AI development gives us the opportunity to create world-class services right here in Kazakhstan,” said Lyazzat Satieva.

 

According to the Akorda website, the event demonstrated the dynamics of digital technology development in the country, as well as the growing contribution of domestic businesses and institutions to the creation of a national artificial intelligence ecosystem.
