Eurasian Bank informs that from 20-21 November 2025, the Bank, like other banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan, switches to using the ISO 20022 international standard at making payments in foreign currency via the SWIFT network (pacs.008 and pacs.009 formats).
This standard is being actively implemented by financial institutions around the world, providing a single format and structure for the transfer of financial data. The transition to ISO 20022 will increase the accuracy, speed and security of payments, as well as simplify transactions with international counterparties. For legal entities, this means that new requirements must be followed when making payments.
As part of the format updates, the form of the payment document is expanded and the following fields are additionally entered:
- “Actual payer’s address”, “Country”, “City”;
- “Sender’s address”, “Country of residence”, “City”;
- “Beneficiary’s address”, “Country of residence”, “City”;
- “Actual beneficiary’s address”, “Country”, “City”;
You are kindly requested to read about these changes in advance and take them into account when forming payment orders.
Thank you for your trust, cooperation and understanding.
