There are interbank and intrabank transfers by phone number available in the Smartbank application now. Today, transfers work within and between three banks: Eurasian Bank, CenterCredit and Altyn Bank.

The transfer system was launched as part of a National Bank project called Suńqar. The first wave of Smartbank updates with transfers by phone number will include owners of smartphones based on Android. Release for iOS is scheduled for April 2019.

To transfer money:
1. Go to the “Transfers by phone number” section.
2. Enter the recipient’s phone number.
3. Select the receiving bank and specify the transfer amount.

• Attention! As of February 7, there are limits on transfers:
  minimum 100,
• maximum 500 000 tenge for one operation without restrictions on the maximum amount per day — for interbank transfers;

minimum 100, maximum 500,000 tenge per transaction and maximum 5,000,000 tenge per day — for intrabank transfers.

The commission for interbank transfers is 0.2% of the amount (250 tenge — minimum), for intrabank transfers the commission is not provided.
