New Fraud Scheme Using Payment Cards Identified

Eurasian Bank warns that a new type of fraud has started to gain momentum in Kazakhstan. The scheme looks quite transparent and ordinary, but makes you once again make sure that you should not disclose your personal data to unfamiliar people.

 

The attacker asks you to tell him your card details in order to transfer money to it and withdraw it from an ATM due to the lack of payment cards.

 

In parallel with withdrawing money and transferring it to the sender, he revokes these funds. As a result, you have a debt to the Bank, which you will learn about later, having already given the money to the fraudster. In the future, the Bank will require a refund from you.
