The Eurasian Space Ventures (ESV) private company and the Astana Hub International Technopark of IT Startups will jointly develop and stimulate the creation of ICT projects for the Kazakhstan aerospace industry. The parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Within the framework of the agreement, ESV and Astana Hub plan to organize joint events for the development and presentation of the potential of Kazakhstani and foreign IT companies and startups in the aerospace sector. In addition, the parties planned to launch the ESV Hub SpaceTech accelerator.
“Kazakhstan has great potential for efficient commercial development of the space industry, primarily due to infrastructure, design and production capabilities of satellites and spacecraft. Therefore, we see various options for cooperation with the Astana Hub Technopark, where startups and IT companies are consolidating. We count on the acceleration of breakthrough projects and strong teams capable of contributing to the development of the aerospace industry. At the same time, we intend to jointly increase the interest and enthusiasm of the younger generation in space technology and technologies,” said the ESV

In turn, Astana Hub, where more than 800 participants are registered
today, expressed readiness to exchange ideas for joint development of space projects, attract talented youth to the development of this sphere.
“The Technopark is now the most attractive IT hub in Central Asia. The revenues of our participants for 2021 amounted to 166 billion tenge. Innovative ideas and projects are constantly flocking to us, which we support and help to implement. I am sure that our startups and IT companies will be able to become an impetus for the further development of the aerospace industry in Kazakhstan,” said Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub.
It should be noted that Eurasian Space Ventures is the first Kazakhstan’s private space company that implemented two unique space projects together with SpaceChain, and is also engaged in attracting the world’s leading companies and space industry technologies to the country
