Eurasian Bank paid off the principal debt and the accrued interest on it to borrowers from the group of socially vulnerable citizens within the framework of state support, and starting 8 September, it begins to pay the compensatory amounts to those customers who have previously repaid the loan themselves (overpayment).

According to the Presidential Decree dated 26 June 2019 No. 34 “On measures to reduce the debt burden of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, funds in the total amount of up to 300 thousand tenge were directed to paying off debts of multi-child families, families without breadwinner, families with disabled children, people with lifelong disabled persons over 18 years old, recipients of state targeted social aid, orphans and legally free children, under twenty-nine years old, having lost their parents before they came of age. At the same time, the total debt on the loan should not exceed 3 million tenge as of 1 June 2019, and the amount of repayable debt consisting of the principal debt and the accrued interest on it should be 300 thousand tenge per borrower.

If the repayment amount allocated for a loan in Eurasian Bank (up to 300 thousand tenge) exceeds the amount of the principal debt and accrued interest at the current moment, the borrower may contact the Bank Outlet and receive the remaining funds (hereinafter – overpayment). Especially for customers who apply for overpayment, Eurasian Bank opens its Outlets on the day off – 8 September 2019. This will help to avoid queues and ensure comfortable provision of services.

The Bank recommends that borrowers contact the Outlets from 8 September. The Bank does not limit the borrowers by the time of receipt – you can pick up the overpayment at any time starting from 8 September. The Bank will invite each borrower individually via SMS.
