Eurasian Bank is now involved in protecting the rights of citizens-tourists, issuing guarantees for tour operators participating in the security abroad system. The first customer to order a guarantee with the Bank was the Online Express LLP travel company.

On 7 November 2016, according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Tourist Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, there was introduced a system aimed at ensuring return of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the host country if the tour operator or charterer is not able to fulfill its obligations.

Pursuant to this law, tour operators and charter operators are required to issue bank guarantees in favor of the Turistik Kamkor Fund. In 2019, the amount of a bank guarantee for tour operators is 5,000 MCIs (12,625,000 tenge), for tour operators-charterers – 15,000 MCIs (37,875,000 tenge). Such a solution guarantees return of Kazakhstanis from abroad.

At present, Eurasian Bank is working to attract other tour operators to issue guarantees in favor of the Turistik Kamkor Fund, because the more companies join the guarantee system, the more protected Kazakhstani tourists abroad are.
