On 20-21 November 2025, an important stage is coming to an end in the Kazakhstani banking sector – the transition to the ISO 20022 international standard when making payments in foreign currency via the SWIFT network. The National Bank and all second-tier banks, including Eurasian Bank, are performing comprehensive technical works and updates to ensure a more modern and reliable payment format.

In parallel, preparations are underway for the entry into force of the new Tax Code on 1 January 2026, which also requires technical adjustments to systems and processes.

We are making every effort to ensure that these works do not affect the usual speed and quality of service. However, in some cases, there may be short-term delays or disruptions in making payments.

Given that the end of the year is traditionally associated with the planning and completion of important financial transactions, we are doing everything possible to make system updates as unobtrusive as possible for you. However, we recommend that you take care of the necessary payments in advance and, if possible, do not postpone them until the last day — this will help to avoid inconveniences during the update period.
