Eurasian Bank and Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund signed an additional agreement to extend the period of payment of guarantee compensation to Bank of Astana customers until 27 July 2020.

At the moment, only 1% of the original amount of obligations remains. These are mostly small account balances. Among the Bank of Astana depositors who have not yet applied for payment, about 95% had deposits of less than five thousand tenge, including 80% of depositors – within one thousand tenge. 209 thousand people have not yet applied for payment.

For the convenience of depositors, KDIF and Eurasian Bank extended the term for payment of compensation until 27 July 2020. During this time, Eurasian Bank is ready to pay compensation in any of 17 Branches and 114 Cash Settlement Offices in 33 cities of Kazakhstan. Issuing a refund will not take more than 15 minutes, you only need an identity card and an application issued on the spot.
