The Global Finance international financial independent magazine named Eurasian Bank as the best custodian bank in Kazakhstan in 2021 as part of the annual rating of the World’s Best Banks Awards, as is reported on the publication website.

In the Best Custodian Bank nomination, the selection criteria included customer relations, quality of service, competitive prices, non-standard solutions, technological platforms, post-settlement operations, business continuity and compliance with local norms and rules.

“The unprecedented events of the last year and a half prompted custodian banks to digitize services and quickly adapt to the post-pandemic landscape,” said Mr. Joseph D. Jarraputo, Global Finance publisher and editor, “The Global Finance Award is given to those banks that implemented new and innovative ideas to solve the challenges they face.”

This year, the Global Finance editorial board conducted market research in seven regions and more than 80 countries and territories, receiving information from expert sources and from the banks themselves

Global Finance also received information from the users of custodial services themselves. The results were evaluated for the period from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020.
