Since 7 December 2021, Eurasian Bank cardholders are among the first in Kazakhstan to use the Google Pay contactless payment service.

Google Pay is a convenient, secure and reliable way to pay for purchases, available to owners of smartphones with Android operating system version 5.0 and higher and supporting NFC technology.

Eurasian Bank customers can connect to the service in the Smartbank mobile app. To do this, you need to:

1. Open Smartbank.

2. Go to the wallet by clicking on the card.

3. Open the card.

4. Go to settings and click on Add a card to Google Pay.

5. For contactless payments with Google Play, up to 2% bonuses are additionally guaranteed to Eurasian Bank customers.

The service is available for Mastercard and Visa payment systems. The number of connected cards is not limited in Google Play.

All payment information is encrypted and stored on Google’s secure servers. Each card added to Google Play is assigned its own virtual account number. It is transmitted to the seller when making transactions. Thus, customer’s payment data is always safe.
