“We are consciously reducing the volume of consumer loans, redistributing resources in favor of corporate business and SMEs. In 2025, the Bank plans to increase its loan portfolio by 25% with disbursements of more than 600 billion tenge. Since the beginning of 2025, the Bank already issued loans worth 120 billion tenge. Projects in the field of logistics, industrial production, medicine and mining are in the work. These sectors are of strategic importance for the country, contribute to the diversification of the economy and the creation of new jobs,” she said.
The Eurasian Bank CEO made a number of constructive proposals on the regulation and differentiated approach to the tax burden of the banking sector, as well as the creation of the SME loan guarantee fund, as an important step towards expanding the opportunities of entrepreneurs.
