Tournaments were held at the Children’s Golf School, formed on the initiative of the Golf Federation of Kazakhstan, which became a real holiday for young athletes and their families. The Competition was held on 29-30 July on the basis of two prestigious golf clubs in Almaty – Nurtau and Zhailjau. More than 120 young participants, from beginners to experienced players, competed with each other, demonstrating their skills and desire to win.
Eurasian Bank provided significant support to this important event. Thanks to the sponsorship of the Bank, the school acquires the required sports equipment and holds training seminars for coaches.
Awarding the winners, Ivan Tsitsagi, the Head Coach of the Children’s Golf School, expressed gratitude to the Bank: “We are happy that Eurasian Bank fully shares the goals and objectives of the school, aimed primarily at the development and education of domestic athletes. The Bank’s support allows us today not only to improve the material and technical base, but also to attract highly qualified foreign coaches – famous golfers with international experience who help our young athletes reach new heights. In the country today, there are many talented young people, from whom future Olympic champions can grow. Therefore, we thank the Bank for supporting all our golf-related endeavors.”

It is important to note that the Children’s Golf School is a playground for everyone who wants to master this game and succeed in it. This year, it opened its doors to 600 young players in the golf clubs of Almaty, Shchuchinsk, Astana, as well as at the bases of sports schools in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Kostanay. Berik Kaniyev, President of the Kazakhstan Golf Federation is convinced that due to the availability of golf in the country, children can unlock their potential and develop self-confidence, which is the basis for their successful future.
In Almaty, the training of young athletes is provided for a nominal fee of 20, 000 tenge per month, including the rental of the golf course, the work of coaches and the use of equipment. In other Kazakhstan cities, the training is free.
Lyazzat Satiyeva, CEO of the Bank, noted: “Our Bank strives to support initiatives aimed at the development of youth and sports. Golf develops physical endurance, coordination, strategic thinking and promotes health, making it an excellent choice for children’s comprehensive development. Seeing young athletes learn new skills inspires us to continue our work and support them every step of the way.”
Eurasian Bank’s support for the Children’s Golf School is not just sponsorship, it is a contribution to the future of Kazakhstan sports. Tournaments like the one held in Almaty are a vivid example of how joint efforts can lead to remarkable results and new achievements.
