Eurasian Bank was recognized as the best in providing custody and sub-custody services in Kazakhstan in 2023 by two international magazines at once — Global Finance noted the Bank as part of the World’s Best Banks Awards annual rating and Global Brands.

“I believe that the result was influenced by our customer orientation, rapid response to changes in the market and legislation, well-coordinated interaction with professional participants of the securities market in the domestic and international markets, as well as the use of optimal solutions taking into account market practices and legislative norms. We thank the experts of Global Finance and Global Brands for their high assessment of our custody activity,” commented Lyazzat Satiyeva, CEO of Eurasian Bank.

This year, the editorial board of Global Finance conducted market research in seven regions and more than 80 countries. The magazine also obtained input from users of sub-custody services. Performance was judged over the period covering January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022.

The award is given for the third year in a row. The criteria included customer relations, quality of service, smooth handling of exception items, technology platforms, post-settlement operations, business continuity plans and knowledge of local regulations and practices.
