Almaty, 13 January 2022
Eurasian Bank decided not to charge penalties and fines to individuals who have overdue loans in the period from January 1 to 31 January 2022.
“Tragic events can have a more lasting effect on the Kazakhstan economy and the lives of ordinary Kazakhstanis. Therefore, we decided to increase the deadlines for the cancellation of penalties and fines to customers who have made a delay, not only during the emergency period, but up to 31 January,” said Valentin Morozov, CEO of Eurasian Bank.
Delay in payment of monthly debt in January 2022 will not affect the credit history of customers.
It should be noted that for legal entities, the accrual of penalties and fines will not be carried out until the end of the state of emergency in Kazakhstan – 19 January 2022.
In turn, the Bank will provide legal entities, including individual entrepreneurs, with a deferral of payments under bank loan and microcredit agreements issued before 5 January 2022, if there are objective reasons for the deterioration of the financial condition or damage caused during the emergency. The terms of granting a deferment will be considered by the Bank on an individual basis.
Applications from legal entities for deferred payment are accepted until 31 January 2022.
