Eurasian Bank, together with the fintech company WOOPPAY, for the first time in Kazakhstan launched instant replenishment of Korti Milli cards issued in Tajikistan, which allows simplification and cost reduction of money transfers.

Cards of the Korti Milli national payment system are the most common in Tajikistan: by the end of 2019, the share of cards in the country was 77.9%, which is about 1.9 million cards. Almost all banks in the country are connected to this payment system.

According to the statistics of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on average for one month in 2019 the amount of money transfers from Kazakhstan to Tajikistan amounted to about 1.19 billion tenge.

Eurasian Bank strives to offer its customers convenient solutions to everyday problems by launching new Internet services. With the help of the WOOPPAY fintech company, money transfer becomes easier and faster and is carried out through the Smartbank mobile app.  Eurasian Bank does not charge a transfer fee. The amount is transferred in full at the conversion rate.

To use the service, new customers need to open a current account or get a free Visa/Mastercard payment card with Eurasian Bank. The card can be topped up via the Bank terminals and Outlets or Kassa24 terminals, as well as by transfer from card to card in the Smartbank app or at the pay.smartbank.kz website.

To top up the Korti Milli card in the Smartbank app, you should:
1. Open the Smartbank app.
2. Go to Payments.
3. Select Electronic Wallets and then Topping up Korti Milli Tajikistan card.
